Beginning in April 2022 we were working in partnership with our long-standing customer PGL regarding the opening of a new centre and the furniture requirements in the beautiful Newby Wiske Hall with stunning grounds for all their activities.

The brief was to create leading-edge designs for the market sector while keeping accommodation numbers high. The feedback on these rooms and dining space has been nothing but positive with the guests loving the design and look of the rooms.

The furniture was designed & manufactured after several meetings with the client to create the final design brief and specification using a combination of MFC finishes and Clear Lacquer powder coated metalwork. Charterbrae supplied all furniture elements from MFC panels, working very closely with our panel supplier to manufacturing all metal work.

We were tasked with designing modern and fashionable furniture that maximizes the space in every room and dining space. The new look dining space furniture consisting of the tables and benches is extremely popular, with the ease of accommodating large numbers and being compact when not in use while also keeping the modern, stylish look.  

Additionally, the centre features a variety of room types, requiring our furniture to be adaptable to fit the layout of each room whilst maintaining a common theme.
